How to Use

Diffuser

For effective diffusion, use 3-5 drops for a small room, 5-8 drops for a medium room, and 8-12 drops for a large room. Diffuse for 30-60 minutes at a time, up to 2-3 times daily. Ideal times for use are during meal preparation, work sessions, or during meditation for enhanced focus.

Topical

For adults, a topical dilution of 2-3% is recommended (approximately 10-15 drops per 2 ounces of carrier oil). For children 2-12 years, dilute to 0.5-1% (2-3 drops per 2 ounces of carrier oil). The elderly should dilute to 1-2%. Common application areas include lower abdomen for digestive issues and temples for headaches. Massage gently into the skin for absorption.

Inhalation

For direct inhalation, place 1-2 drops on a tissue and breathe deeply, or use an inhaler. For steam inhalation, add 2-3 drops of anise oil to a bowl of hot water, lean over with a towel, and inhale the steam for 5-10 minutes.

Safety & Precautions

Safety Guidelines

Before use, perform a patch test and avoid sun exposure after topical application due to possible photosensitivity. Use cautiously during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and consult with a healthcare provider if you are taking medication. Store in a cool, dark place, and be aware that anise oil may cause skin irritation in some individuals. Shelf life is typically 1-2 years.

Who Should Avoid
  • ⚠️ Pregnant women, especially in the first trimester.
  • ⚠️ Individuals with hypersensitivity to anise.
  • ⚠️ Those with hormonal disorders or estrogen-sensitive conditions.
