How to Use

Diffuser

For best results in diffusing Cedarwood Virginian, use 3-5 drops for small rooms (up to 100 sq ft), 5-8 drops for medium rooms (100-300 sq ft), and 8-12 drops for larger spaces. Diffuse for 30-60 minutes at a time, 2-3 times daily, ideally before bedtime.

Topical

For adults, dilute Cedarwood Virginian Essential Oil to 2-3% (12-18 drops per ounce of carrier oil). For children, use a dilution of 0.5-1% (3-6 drops per ounce). The elderly should use 1-2% (6-12 drops per ounce). Ideal carrier oils include jojoba, coconut, or sweet almond. Apply to pulse points or areas in need of relief using gentle massage techniques. Allow the oil to absorb for at least 30 minutes.

Inhalation

For direct inhalation, place 1-2 drops on a tissue or cotton ball and gently inhale. For steam inhalation, add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the steam for 5-10 minutes. Personal inhalers can be made by adding a few drops to an inhaler stick for easy travel.
