Dilute to 2-3% for adults (12-18 drops per ounce of carrier oil), 0.5-1% for children, and 1-2% for elderly. Consider jojoba or sweet almond as carriers. Massage into affected areas with moderate pressure to enhance absorption.
Direct inhalation can be done with 1-2 drops on a tissue or by cupping hands over your nose. For steam inhalation, add 2-3 drops to hot water and inhale for 5-10 minutes. Personal inhalers can also be created with a few drops of essential oil.
