For a small room, use 3-5 drops; in a medium room, use 5-8 drops; and for a large space, 8-12 drops. Optimal duration is 30-60 minutes, 2-3 times daily, best during times when relaxation or a mental boost is needed.
For adults, dilute to 2-3%, for children to 0.5-1%, and for the elderly to 1-2%. Apply to desired areas, such as dry patches or sore muscles. Recommended carriers include jojoba oil or sweet almond oil. Massage gently for better absorption.
For direct inhalation, place 1-2 drops on a tissue or inhale deeply from a bottle. For steam inhalation, add 2-3 drops to hot water and inhale the steam for up to 10 minutes. Personal inhalers can be filled for on-the-go aromatherapy.
