How to Use
For a small room, use 3-5 drops of Geranium essential oil in your diffuser; for a medium room, 5-8 drops; and for a large room, 8-12 drops. Optimal diffusion duration is 30-60 minutes per session, 2-3 times daily. Best times are during work hours for stress relief or in the evening for relaxation.
For topical application: Adults should dilute to 2-3%, Children to 0.5-1%, and the Elderly to 1-2%. Effective carrier oils include jojoba, sweet almond, or coconut. Apply to areas like the wrists, neck, or desired skin areas using light massage, allowing time for the oil to absorb.
For direct inhalation, apply 1-2 drops onto a tissue or onto hands, cupping them over the nose. For steam inhalation, add 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water, inhaling deeply for 5-10 minutes. Personal inhalers can also be prepared with a few drops for on-the-go relief.
Safety & Precautions
Patch test before use; apply diluted oil to a small skin area and wait 24 hours for sensitivity. Geranium may cause photosensitivity; avoid sun exposure for 12 hours post-application. Consult with a healthcare provider if pregnant/nursing or if on medications. Ensure proper storage in a cool, dark place to maintain potency, with a shelf life of 2-3 years.
